But again, really good to see feedback. Well done Coupe07 !

p/s: i was thinking to fix the HKS Legamax by end of the year, be it approved or not.

Just saw an advertisement by Garage R on the Hot Stiff Magazine.

It states that their HKS , Silent Hi Power and LegaMax are LTA compliant.

So its APPROVAL right???

I checked a couple of weeks ago and the Legamax for the RX-8 was still not yet approved, but the Legamax for other cars (350Z?) may be approved.

This I do not understand ., Does that mean that if LegaMax had exhaust for 10 different models of cars. It would have to obtain 10 approvals?

Yes...that's my understanding. Have a look at the two pix below, both are HKS Legamax, one for RX-8 the other for 350Z. You can see that the design and shape are quite different to match each car.

I was stock at the time of that post....NOW I'm on hipermax! Just need some new sways, then I'm all set Here's one of Poo Yang's great pix. I was too low for the drive through Malaysia (some fender scraping over the road pitches) so might raise the car back up a little bit just in case....awesome coilovers

Quite a number of discussions on taking out the cat in the aftermarket forum - check it out first. I remember reading abt a few problems like CEL, noisy etc.
