Hello. I am Yap. Currently shopping for an 8. Hope this is not a repost. I tried to look in the net to find out the differences in the 03, 04, 05, and 06 for MT. I only managed to find out the rough difference in AT for 06 and those before 06 but not on the MT. Because I am debating whether to buy a 03 or 04 MT? Apart from the mileage, what others difference between these 2?

heard the 06 model had some minor fixes on the previous years' ones...but not so sure thou

also for AT 06 onwards are 6spd rather than the old 4spd.

 

Thanks for the replies. For AT06, it is 6-speed instead of 4-speed. The engine also has some upgrade. From 4 port to 6 port, hence the increase in horse power. The addition of auxillary port on top of the primary and secondary port makes the AT has better supply high engine speed.

 

The 04 MT Rx-8 is lighter and faster than all other models. Guess which one i have Nah man im just putting in my biased, factless opinion or course, LOL. I would tell you to just go with any MT model, you will LOVE it......but FYI the 04 is da shizzle, of course.

Do you think it is worth it to get a 04 instead of 03 with a price different of RM7000 and slightly lower mileage, like 4k km difference.
