Dear RX-8 members in Singapore... I will be going down to SIngapore this weekend, was wondering if there is any gathering on Saturday (22/09) or if any member can meet up to go for some shopping of RX-8 parts... Thank you

 

Most RX 8 meets are on fri, and to date it has been sometime since they last met !

Are you driving to Singapore ?

If you are, you would be better off driving to Monster Garage since it is a Saturday, coz many 8 owners like to hang around there !

You probably can kill 2 birds with 1 stone as MG do have a lot of toys too !

I wish I can drive over there :-D ha ha ha... need to cross the ocean to reach there ;-) I am flying in tomorrow to attend a meeting in Sentosa on Friday. Seems like going to MG will be the plan on Saturday to meet some of you there. Bt the way, I will be staying in Shangri-La... what time will you guys normally be at MG?

 

Mid afternoon is a good time to visit mg coz the 2 vip's there come berry late at about 2pm onwards !

a lot of new development in sentosa, casino, resort and residential development.

sentosa, you can drive in. need to pay only $4.00.
check out cafe delmar, nice place to chill out especially on a friday evening.
also at the new residential bungalows in sentosa,
there are quite a few lamborghinis to ogle at.

 

Thanks Zavhan, I will at the Ubi area later in the morning tomorrow to pick up some parts for Honda... After that, I iwll drop by to MG and have a look around... who in particular do I need to talk for our RX-8 deal if I am interested in any of the "toys" ;-)

BlackEight, I am in the hotel industry.. marketing the one of the Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts... in Sabah ;-) and thanks for the tips...

 

You can look for the following:

Darren - Dashing young man with looks to kill young mei mei and obasan ! He is the chap that can provide most of the quotation. Mayb can ask him to show u around nitelife in Singapore. (Tell him DF is near where u r stayin and he will hook u upz)

Mike - For all your technicalaties about rotor, look for him.

Ivan - Dun need to ask him much, juz ask to see his car enuff liao !

These are the trio u need for inquiry, but nonetheless, u have to "angkat" with their resident chief mechanic who had fiddled with countless number of rotaries including NA, TC and SC version.

Hi guys, went to Monster Garage at around 4pm and met up with Darren an Ivan. Even got the golden opportunity to sit in Ivan's supercharged 8... Thank you for the great experienced on the ride. You guys at Monster Garage are great! I will let you know what I need and once again, thank you for all the information. Keep me posted with the RE remap dates ;-)

Not a problem ! I was there n did saw you. With Ivan & Darren present, I m obsolete, BTW earlier the day, another 8 owner oso from Sabah turn up, n we tot it was U !

Talk about coincidence ! Should have bought 4D !!!!

Fret not, next time I go Sabah, Will go KK Shangrila Resort to look for you !
