Hi All,
How are you? I have just moved to Spore from KL. Interested to buy a (new and may consider pre-owned) RX8 6AT with Mazdaspeed bodykit and spoiler. Please advice on:
1) Where? Parallel importer or Mazda distributor?
2) Price in Spore?
3) Where do I get Mazdaspeed bodykit if car doesn't come with it?
4) Where do I service RX8 in Spore?

Please help.

In relation to your first two questions, 6AT is only available through PIs. Check out the new cars section at www.sgcarmart.com, but prices quoted cannot be easily compared as some include cash rebates, audio system upgrades, leather seats option etc.

Will leave others to comment on questions 3 & 4, as I'm a newbie who just collected my car this week.

1) Where? Parallel importer or Mazda distributor?
- Distributor doesn't carry 6AT

2) Price in Spore?
- Ranging from 90K-130K depending on specs

3) Where do I get Mazdaspeed bodykit if car doesn't come with it?
- Not sure as i am also sourcing for VeilSide bodykit

4) Where do I service RX8 in Spore?
- After warranty period, Monster garage is the place (at least that's wat all is recommending in this forum)

2nd hand car interest is ~3.5% and new car interest is ~2.85%

I have a colleague who is Malaysian and working here too.
He owns a Malaysian registered RX-8.
Just wondering, is it cheaper to get it there?
Of course there are pros and cons, like daily VEP, but cheaper road tax.
All I know is, performance wise, he can do lots of mods unlike a S'pore registered car.

All RX8s in Msia are recond cars. u wont b able to buy brand new 8s here (at least as far as i know).

Is there a face lift for the Basic RX towards the end of this year? If there is will it appply to cars supplied to .sg?
