Brands of Petrol (shell vs mobil)

been using mobil for the last 6-7 years. my 8 has been running at about 6.5km/l, 85%city driving, on RON95. recently, as shell was the last one to increase price, tried a tank of shell ron95, geez managed 7.1 km/l (8% savings!), dun recall if i had done more highway or changed driving habits. now back on mobil, will check my mileage again to verify...

any bros have similar experience?

there was a thread done long time ago on this topic. Most ppl do get more mileage with with shell, esp XO. But then one too have to pay more for the petrol. thus its back to sq1.

that's good. try a few more tanks before knowing the final truth. Me on the same petrol since got the car, the mpg get a diff of 1.5 km/l. lowest of 5.9 and highest about 7.5.
