Anyone has dealings with the Authorised Dealers like Village Credit and Welltac Credit as advertised in the classified? Care to share your experience?

BTW, anyone knows what does FE32 in the advertised "RX-8 6MT FE32" means? Is that the most recent model number?

In addition, the current RX-8s are 2004 model, right? Anyone knows when the 2005 model will be out (ie. will it be end 2004) and whether there is any difference in the 2005 models?

hmm year 2005 rx8 might be coming out with a turbo or supercharge rx8 that's maybe from what i read about in the japanese magazines but 4 sure rx7 is coming out with the 5th generation of rx7 either wit the turbo or supercharge edition so cross u're fingers at the end of next yr! By the way can i ask u where did u hear about the FD32?? Very interested to know thxs!

 

FE32.... Straits Times classified Ads on 8 August 04, Page C6, upper right corner.... both authorised dealers' ads 1 above the other....

Also checked forum after posting that 2005 RX-8 should be out within 2 to 3 months and the main difference is White replace Yellow for colour and Key changed to those retractable keys.... Think turbo may be for 2006 model RX8....

Yes, JDMs are SE3P while "export" models are the FE series...picking up where the RX-7 left of at FD.

Wheels Asia just named the RX-8 their car of the year. And through out the article they called it RX-8 FE32.

Yes - nice article but... They featured a JDM RED RX (note the black rear windows). HA HA HA! :p

 

the red jdm rx is just a stock image (publicity shot) they did have a black MM car to test and photograph on.

 

The article is so baised against PIs. Some info is also wrong, wad in built turbo timer??!! Crap! Its just an auto fan.....Duh.....

Turbo have to wait until 2006?
If 2005 cuming out, then i will wait...
My current car has to be scrapped by 2005 Jan..

 

2006 is a "maybe".... if u want a turbo car, try the Subaru Legacy 2.0 GT.... It's as fun as the 8 in the driver's seat (or maybe a bit more).

 

i still feel that the 8 DEFINITELY has more appeal.

 

I'm new to rotory engine. I am getting an auto from PI. They said it is JDM. How do I check it is real? do they show SE3P or something different on the chasis no?

 

They should. So far all the JDM cars has the metal plate that showed the model number. Correct me if I am wrong.

 

in fact all jap cars(xports/jdms) hv a plate tat have the car 'particulars' inprinted on them.

 

Neither the turbo/supercharged RX-8 nor the 5th gen RX-7 are a "sure thing"...both are pure speculation (in other words, Mazda has not announced that they will be building either).
