I was told the arrival will only be coming in next year. the only promise is before CNY by pinnacle. any idea of when the 6spd auto is coming in by other PI? Thanks

 

If you are planning to buy from Pinnacle, good luck. Most of the P.Is I check says Dec.

 

There is a thread started by garage R, their 6 speed auto just came in yesterday so you can probably pop by Tagore lane to have a look.

yours booked from pinnacle as well? I booked from pinnacle since aug which they also promised delivery beofre XMAS. the stated estimated delivery is "late NOV/DEC"

 

Nope. I will never go to Pinnacle. to many stories liao. Eventhough I did not encounter the truth, but I am not putting my head on the line to test it.

I bought mine from garage r in end july. If nothing goes wrong, should be getting my car in mid dec....sluurrrrpppp!!! what a long wait but am damn sure it will be well worth. Anyway, if you have ordered from pinnacle already, then it is abit too late to tell u about garage r. Nonetheless, they offered a very good deal and June is a very good and prompt salesperson. Her sister, Lee, knows quite alot about the 8 and you can ask her most questions. But June really makes the difference. Have to give her full marks for customer service and follow up.....hmmm....rx9, perhaps?

just to get update. had anyone gotten the 6spd auto rx8 yet? seems like mine is confirm next year.

 

No offence but that is why I'll never trust PI's...you never know what is going on behind the scenes. Toooo many 'what ifs'.

What if they go bust?

What if their mechanics are not properly trained on rotaries?

What if they decide to try their luck on the COE lottery and you dont get your car till 6 months later?

I guess this stems down to the fact that I am an impatient person - there is absolutely no way that I'd be able to wait 6 mths for my new car. My lady complains that I trest my ride better than I do her as it is

 

Some had already gotten theirs.... Still waiting for mine to clear custom and LTA inspection. COE already bidded.

This is also good for other bros who intenting to get one, so that they can avoid PI who failed their expected delivery like mine in pinnacle.

U may want to try Garage R. They already got their first 6 spd auto like 2 weeks back. I will be getting mine this friday. Think they are ordering a new batch which is scheduled for arrival on CNY period. Look for June. Tell her victor recommended....

Mine was supposed to come end Dec from Vincar. Already got my COE. Still waiting for the car to arrive
