ya the sun was too bright, i couldn't use any lower for shutter speed, aperture was set at F14. thanks anyway

i want to get into photography too but i havent been able to get a good camer. i want the nikon d40 kit. but 600$ is alot to start a new hobbie that im uncertain i'll be good at

eventually u will find the d40 not up to standard. u will want a higher end camera. start off with a simple camera, train up the angles and such before making a decision of whether you want to get one a not.
