22nd April Track Day at Sepang with KL Rotorians again!
 

All Rotarians,

The Track day with our Rotory bros in KL is here again! It's time to stretch the muscles of our rotors... :)

Date: 22nd April 2007
Venue: Sepang International Circuit - South Track
Time: choose one session 9am - 1pm or 1pm - 5pm
Groups: 3 Groups.
1) group 3 are for begineers or for those who would like to have instructors give pointers while on track.
2) group 2 are for more experienced like multiple track entries previously.
3) group 1... forget about it.... for pure racers or instructors. 100 % confident killing spirit ;)

Cost: $75 for Half Day - Choice of 9am - 1pm or 1pm - 5pm (Lunch not included)
$150 for Full Day (Lunch Included)
$10 Lunch per person

Will confirm again but would prefer to go 9am to 1pm (not so hot mah and can boogie the nite b4 in KL too!) in Group 3.

Use semi-slicks if you are going all out for best times, in which case please go to group 1 and get a transponder. Use your regular tires if you wanna know what your car is capable of in it's current form when you drive around everyday. Of coz if you use semi-slick as your regular tires, then power to ya.

i m slow on track leh... tot semis can help me go a bit faster ma...

hi effie, pleasure to meet you mate. had the chance to follow a couple of rx8's in the morning and i must say the 8 is superior in terms of handling compared to the 7. i experienced a lot of roll in a couple of corners. perhaps strengthening the chasis and getting some undercarriage point stiffeners would allow me to keep up with the 8's.

Man it looked like so much fun!!! Would have loved to have been there but I might be selling my car soon so I did not want to thrash it. I'd love to come for the next one with (hopefully) my new ride tho ;)
