Question Window Tinting

Has anyone got a quote.

So far light smoke £295 (Lifetime warranty) from Pentagon Hampshire.

Any Recommendations?

I am waiting for a quote via my dealer, 25% tint being legal max I understand.

Any idea what tint the windows already are and at what point it starts to look like a pimp mobile and start to attract the police?

Mazda Dealer: £400+VAT (uses Pentagon)

Pentagon GlassTech: £330+VAT

Independant Garage:

Standard film: £185
Security Film: £240
High Spec Security Film: £300 (same as Pentagon)

They havent done an RX-8 yet (obviously!) so wont know an exact price until they see the car.

Im going for one of the two security options, will decide the level of tint on the day when I see some samples.

Rexy - Is that the dealer quoting you or are you going outside. I understand the dealers do not do this and will contract out, problem is that the price seems to inflate.

At the moment, although it was top of the list of the things to get done, I'm going to drive the car around for a while before deciding now whether to get it done or not....

Rael,

This company was recommended to me by a friend, he had his M3 done by them. They are based in 'Reading', they have done a good job on the M3, so I am not to worried about them being the cheapest.
