Question Why are Turnbulls Mazda......

... advertising an RX8 for sale NOW ? (Autotrader)

2003 53 Reg Mazda RX8 240bhp Turnbulls MazdaPetrol, Manual 6 speed, titanium grey Metallic, Coupe, 10 miles, 4 Doors. Adjustable Steering Column, Alloy Wheels, Anti-Lock Brakes, Body Coloured Bumpers, C D Player, Central Door Locking, Driver Air . . . . (trade)

Just curious. Of course this may not be actual stock but that is not what is implied. Surely you cannot buy them off the forecourt before any loyal pre-orderers get them ?

Suspect this is just a speculative ad but if anyone knows this dealer I would be interested.

M.

PS - £23,500

Morgan

I reckon this will be stock. It will almost certainly be a car that has been pre-ordered by one of their customers and cancelled. So rather than hand it back to Mazdz they are keeping it and selling it above list.

Agreed - but my question is "Is this stock NOW" or are they selling it in anticipation ?

I am hoping the latter....

Guys,

Just spoken to the dealer. They are based in York, customer has cancelled car and it is to late for the dealer not to take delivery. Car is fully loaded apart from sat nav and sun roof. Has given me first refusel when it lands at his dealership on the 14th of November. Shall I hold out for my vel red with red leather & sat nav, or shold I swap to th tit minus the sat nav?

Norty. If a customer cancells car should go to next pre-ortder fo that type.

I think Mazda are tying to make sure car only goes to named pre-oder person. (as suggested by that e-bay seller).

may have to be registered in pre-order name then to new owner/garage.

Always the red for sure. Why would you change to a grey tit at this late stage.

Obviously i meant tit grey!

Considerd changing for the reason would have got the car a few weeks earlier, however have decided against it as I am in love with the velocity red, however smiles it may be worth you calling this guy, as he is going to have a spare car available, or any other member on the forum that has a long delivery wait. I am sure this car will be sold by next week, if the daler is assuring that it will be with him by the 14th of November.

For the sake of a couple of extra weeks, i dont think there is any point. You'd only spend you tie wishing you had Sat Nav etc..
