Speed Scamera detection built in to sat nav?

Seems to suggest something like this, or possibly as an option, I've not seen it officialy anywhere?

I don't see how the standard sat-nav can do this. The number and position of speed cameras is changing regularly (well the number is anyway)

The sat-nav uses a dvd-rom which isn't updated very often, so this isn't the best way of doing it.

Is an out of date list of cameras in fact worse than no list at all ?

I do know that the trafficmaster (smartnav) option does have the capability to download regular updates for gatsco placement for an extra £100 plus £8 per month. That is done by gsm so is very up-to-date

Yeah, I thought it was a bit far fetched.

I assumed it was something like the smartnav/roadangel type addon, nothing to do with the sat nav.
