Are those outlet fins polished or brushed?

Brushed.

Although be aware they are not the same as the brushed ones we saw at the blue-car-roadshow. These are more like the same finish as the wheels. Almost like coated metal.

Really glad I chose them.... And yes , the accent really does just 'finish off' the front end.

Is your number plate standard size, 520 X110?

Assume so - it came from the dealer that way.
I too have GT Graphix plates , will fit at weekend.

I asked my dealer who gave me measurements of 575 x 185, not sure where he got that from but clearly not standard. re-checking with him now.

Presumably you will be putting the new plates on for good or just show?

What type of font did you choose?

I do hate the headlight washer covers that we get. Ruins the clean lines on the front. But I guess we have no choice..

Morgan,

The brushed finish looks great, not at all like the stuff at the roadshow which will have put a lot of people off (inc me)

Andy,

Have you seen the headlamp washers on the S2000? In comparison the RX-8s are fantastic?

I believe the 'low' power doesn't have the headlight washers (and various other minor differences they failed to mention at the time - I thought I was just paying less for better fuel consumption) but does this mean it won't have the covers? Either I've got a sleeker car coming, or nasty lumps which don't even serve a purpose. (And if it doesn't have them should I stick them on to look like the 'big boys'? )

morgan: someone is dissing your car

I love the number plate, but that Mazda badge on the front spoils the design a little. :p Sorry, just expressing my views on the Mazda logo. A circular emblem doesn't look right smack bang in the middle where there are strong horizontal lines above and below.

I wish you well with your new baby. A long time coming, eh? It's nice to know that it's dirty. It proves that you drive it.
