Talking So we ordered an RX-8 Today

Titanium Hi-power with cloth seats.

No idea of my order number, should find out next weekend (Warrington dealership, Paul).

Took an MX-5 out for a play too, hadnt driven one of them before, if the rx-8 is similar but quicker I'll be well happy

He said 680 pre-orders last time he checked a week or so ago. Didnt know if I'd get a book or not either (typical dealer, didnt know much, feel sorry for them as MazdaUK arnt exactly being communicative right now).

Great decision. I've seen many reviews that claim the RX-8 handles not unlike the MX-5 so we should be in for some fun. Nice colour too!

Problem is I'm so tempted by an MX-5 now lol.

Looking at swaping my focus for a 5 until the 8 arrives..

Rob - out of interest who do you work for? I've got a mobile number for a Rob Dickinson stored in my mobile and I've got so many IT contacts stored in there I just wondered if by a massive slice of coincidence it's you!?!:D

Highly unlikely then (although I did work in the IT dept for Dfyed health Authority many years ago!) You must have a common IT name then! I'm just racking my brains to think who it is - I hate phoning someone and not knowing who they are!:p
