RX8 car insurance

RX8 car insurance
I live in Italy and i have to pay 2,790 dollars/2008 euro a year, this seems outrageous, i have clean driver record, does anybody have a european insurance company that is better?

I suspect, by now, you've either parted with your lovely RX-8 (how could you?.....
) or else, paid the high insurance premium.
You might like to know, when it comes to renew your policy, that I got fully comprehensive (plus UK breakdown policy) cover from the AA for less than £700 (about 1,000 E?)!
Car spec: 231 bhp. SatNav, but no performance extras.
Clean driver record, but with another car with the same insurer.
I'd be interested to know how things go......
