Rear view
The rear view is my least favourite part of the car, I think it looks too moulded and plastic (too Japanese really) and I know some others agree with this.
Anybody have any idea how the back could be improved and at what costs. I am thinking about larger exhaust pipes, exhaust trim, larger spoiler etc.

I agree that the read view is the least inspiring view of the car, and for me spoils it to a certain degree. If I can get one at non UK prices I will seriously consider a spoiler.

I like the "straight on" rear view - the lights look great and the rear window is a little reminiscent of RX-7's. It's the rear three-quarter that I think can look a little awkward - just too much going on with the extra doors and the unusually angled rear pillar. I'm not sure whether a spoiler would distract attention away from all this or just add to the visual confusion.

We,ve been here before..........
I personally think that the rear looks tall and narrow in pictures but was very surprised when I saw the car in Bristol and loved it from the rear. It was much wider and squatter than I had seen before and I thought I'd seen it all with 100's of pics.
This car is perfectly balanced in the flesh from all angles!!
IMHO it doesn't need a rear dress up but the chrome around the exhausts and the chrome rotary accent would look good.
I'll try and find a better pic of the rear this evening to post.
Cheers

Rael,
I've had my moments since January but really due to the frustrating delays, I STILL LOVE THE CAR!!!
The owner reports from across the pond are keeping me positive, this car is AWESOME and WORTH THE WAIT.
PLEASE, PLEASE MAZDA UK if you're reading, NO MORE DELAYS!!
Cheers
