Smile Pleasant Surprise from Mazda

After cancelling a couple of weeks ago, got a pleaseant surprise. Mazda wrote me a very nice letter and gave me my whole deposit back! They said they recognised my disappointment at the delay, and hoped that I would still be interested in the car at a later date.

Now for me this is the way things should work, so Mazda seem to have taken on board some feedback from the forum perhaps...

Good. Glad to see come proper customer service. Just becuase someone cancels now doesnt mean that they wont come back - so you might as well treat them well.

What I find interesting is that they apologised to you for the delay - while for the rest of us hangers-on they didnt do anything of the sort, and said there IS no delay! Its all a figment of our imagination and a product of rumour and hearsay.
Was it your dealer or Mazda UK who issued the apology, Knight?

Jon H,

To be clear - the reply was from Mazda UK and I guess you could argue if they apologised or not - the phrase they used was they recognised my disappointment
