Very, very P****d off

I mentioned cancelling the order to my wife this morning and she raised a valid point that we have waited this long so cancelling now would be mad.

Also, even I do consider something else I won't cancel and give Mazda the satisfaction of hanging on to my £100. I would collect my car and sell at a premium after launch.

A lower powered car than I ordered and 4 months delay on the promised delivery yet not a single letter from Mazda to inform me let alone apologise. Appalling.

The 350Z I ordered was promised for October 1st on the day I ordered and it remains so (if anyone wants one).

Ok great idea oilman.

Lets do this, send it to Mazda en masse and see what happens. Obviously its probably not Mazda UKs fault, but certainly they should be feeding this back to the hiroshi-sans in Japan.

I really would love to walk (and I may have to as the old temporary car I bought to see me through a month (!) is now looking like 5/6 months.

I for one have been looking at second hand XK8s today and new x-series as a result of this. I had also thought about the impreza STi.

My mate sitting next to me is getting a Z4 and its coming Thursday, a whole week after launch date, which also didn't move. Indeed, he is just buying his insurance as we speak.

Make money on the car? Sell on launch day? I don't think so. I've got a baad feeling.

Darn for needing 4 seats.

Si

renegade - I have the same thought on the XK8 as they are coming down in price now but rememeber its a heavy cruiser and if you want a pure classic carpet ride then fine but it is not as mobile, flexible and not really any fun. Also warranty will be expired and things will therefore go wrong and will be expensive.

I think that Mazda UK are also running blind but at least they should tell us so.

Wait and see

I thought Mazda UK read these forums. If they do then they are fools for not nipping this communication problem in the bud. They can phone me to ask if I want information on insurance and finance but they seem unwilling to communicate any bad news directly.

No one has ever officially told me that the power has been reduced since I ordered. No one has officially told me about the pro-drive event, the roadshow or anything else. I pity the people who do not know about these forums and are even more like mushrooms than we are (kept in the dark and fed ****!)

If you are reading Mazda then my message is simple; I would rather be told bad news as soon as you knwo it rather than be told nothing. You should read up on the definition of customer service.
