Heya Ben!

Insurance, roughly twice my 1.8LX focus, from £430 to £800 ish, and thats with a liverpool postcode.

Save for petrol.

No idea on mazda finance, bought mine with my kitchen (ofset mortgage).

Cars a blast. Best toy I've ever had, and only running in still!

Hiya Ben! I work in Cardiff so you should start to see a Titanium 8 speeding around from next week.

Mazda finance is not competative.

My insurance is about £480 fully comp with 9 years protected NCB.

Hi Ben,

Re your insurance question.....which model E46 have you got?
Earlier in the year I had a 330ci sport then changed it to an R32 which was if I remember the same ins cost. I renewed the R32 ins a couple of weeks ago but got a quote on the RX8 at the same time via Tesco's online site. The R32 is £500 and something but the RX8 was £300 and something, so basically if you have a 330, the RX8 will be a lot cheaper to insure.

Welcome Ben, i think what morgan was meaning is that the engine is very different in power band / torque characteristics - see my post comparing the celica to the 8 - same style of engine as the 'teg'

Test drive would be my advice, unlike anything i've ever driven before - but most def not in a bad way :D

RX8 is group 16, so should be less than your typeR.

Cheers,
Baz
