hi to everyone great forum couldn't wait to join.
Best of luck to all those getting their cars now, I pre-ordered a pug206cc 3 years ago and it is fantastic having a new model, I had so many comments and people eyeballing it, so watch out guys. ( I've not received delivery date yet)
Also for those concerned about negative comments. The pug forum was much worse than this. Late deliveries, leaking roofs, roofs breaking down, cheap imports ruining residuals.
I've had 2 1/2 years great fun motoring and good residuals judging by trade in offers so far.
so keep faith unusual individual cars generally keep their value.
Also people don't usually post good comments i.e car is working today again, I really like my dealer........ its so boring.
bye for now

Thanks guys
I am chopping the pug for the rx8 and obviously I think the 8 is a much better looking car. The only red i've seen is on the advert but it looks great so for me I chose the right colour

Thanks Mark,
To date my dealer has only had tit grey in both hi & Lo power and you can't really tell the look of the car from the brochure, so its good to hear from someone who has seen one.
Am thinking of joining the rx8owners club.

Welcome Pug206CC - you'll certainly find that there really is room for 4 in the 8, which is why I got it - I'd like to have a convertible for 4 that isnt the audi or the Megane 307 with a boot still (Saab loses its boot, as does the Beamer) that handles sportily. This is cos I used to own a number of MX-5s in the psat. But 2 kids has meant that I have to be (semi) sensible. So here I am, waiting for my 8!
Have u got a delivery date?
Si
PS Mark Right, join the official club, forms are available now from the website

I agree I also have 2 kids now teenagers and the pug is just too small, I did look at the pug307cc but it just looks so bland and all the reviews say its boring to drive. so its goodbye to open tops.
Mazda really seem to have opened a new market with the RX8 A family coupe that looks great and is also fun to drive. There's not many fun cars out there for families.
Also still no delivery date

Hi pug206cc, might be an idea to give Eastgate another call. I ordered after you and have already got my delivery date and chassis number. Peter the sales manager is the man to speak to.
Also, they now have their demo car in - High Power velocity red and a black hi power with leather sat in the showroom - very nice!
