Insurance

First time on here, so forgive if this has been covered.

Am looking to buy RX-8 (was going to be TT), but having difficulty with insurance. Am early 30s but been on company insurance and can't get no claims. Tried 4/5 comapnies but all saying need min 2 yrs no claims. Has anyone else had problems/found a solution?

In addition, anyone know what immobiliser it has (brand name)?

Cheers

Bernie,

If you were on company ins, cant you get someone in your company to write a letter on your company letterhead stating you have been driving so long, no accidents etc etc

I opted out of my company scheme 2 years ago, and after getting the above letter, Tesco's gave me full no claims.

Cheers
