Grey Tit Colour

Guys,

On the 'general discussion' forum there are a number of threads discussing the exact colour of the grey tit but most of it is US based comparing US Mazda cars.

Can anybody in the UK give proper advise on the UK colour. My dealer advised that it is the same grey tit as on the UK Mazda 6 parked in shop but that looked very too dark for me.

Also, whilst we do not really know the colour tone of the vel red is it not a possibility for Mazda UK to advise us of a similar colour in the market even if not a Mazda car (just to give us a clue before finalising our orders).

Rael,

Agree with you, hence my comments in the other post. It would be nice if the dealers could get some decent size colour samples to see.

AFAIK the tit grey is different to the 6 grey but as you say that's based upon the US forums. My dealer pointed to a grey 6 when I was there and told me that was tit grey so im confused also.

Maybe we should all order different colours, and when they arrive if we dont like them we can swap!!

The only thing Im sure of is that I will have leather and paint as extras (unless I choose black).

Im back on the red again today, but I will change my mind 100 times before I order and I will still get it wrong.

I know you dont like it, but I love the pics of the black car. My car is met black at the moment and it gets dirty so easy which puts me off having another black.

Not that keen on the Mazda silver, think its too pale.

ask to see the paint code numbers, that should settle it.

Guys, Guys!

I saw the Titanium in the flesh on a special MX5 owned by the Service Manager of my local Dealer.

It's really a bit of everything depending on the light. I can only say that it shows off the lines of the car well.

The best pics I have seen so far are the ones Boowana and Sputnick took in Detroit, see main forum which reflect the changing nature of the colour.

The ones at Laguna Seca made the 8 look very aggressive but seemed a lot darker than I saw at my Dealers.

There are some pics and an article in March CAR magazine of the silver. It also has the RED/BLACK leather (we're not getting) but I have to confess the car looks great from front quarter view.

I'm looking forward to seeing a colour swatch of the red, to me this is the mystery colour.

Cheers

Indeed...sometimes it is a bit purple, then totally grey, then brown....

These are all Tit. Grey, and I think it is the same color as on the RX-8
