kerb weight = 1425 INCLUDING 75kg for the driver. Thats my weight, how'd they guess? |
1420kg - 75kg = 1345kg Curb Weight.
Not bad, but 45kg over the estimated 1300kg that was quoted ages ago. Also interesting to not it says Fuel is 95 RON Unleaded. I wonder if any better performance would be acheived with 97/98RON? |
MarkW -
Traditionally rotaries use low octane fuel due to the burn characteristics. They used to require 2star , laterly unleaded. No surprise that 95octane is the requirement. There must be a reason - suspect that 98 octane may actually hurt performance... Like I say , all due to burn characteristics in the long narrow combustion chamber. M. (I think in some countries they run their rotaries on 90 octane) |
Morgan,

Although RX will be thirsier than typeR , the fuel price brings it much closer..... Hoping to come out only slightly worse off fuel wise. M. |
