Marrying a beautiful woman.
When you first meet her she is beautiful, has a trim figure, goes like anything and doesnt drink too much. The anticipation of that first ride is too much to bear. :D
By the time you get to know her she still looks quite good, but her performance is reduced, she's put on weight and drinks too much. Therefore you have to pay extra to have her modified to get her back to what it was you originally fell in love with.

Good point but depends werer you found this beautiful woman. If you found yours in the right location she will have breeding and style and whilst initially more expenive will pay back in keeping her figure and being health conscience throughout. However, if you picked yours in a dark dingy club then what you 'think' is a beautifil woman may well turn out to be a bit of a dog.
I think perhaps we have all been a little blinded by the price tag and are now finding out why Mazda came in so low! (I am sure if we could afford it we would it we would buy the XK8).

Oilman - have not picked up the book yet. Is it any good or just another prop pending further disappointment. It would to terrible if they next advised that the only colour available this year will be tit grey...would you wait?
2nd hand XK8 (R reg) available for mid £20k......It's an alternative if the RX8 turns out to be a pup.

The XK8 is hardly a sports car. Just a jazzed-up convertible XJ if you ask me....
The RX is a bit more focused on driving ability than the XK IMO...

Rael,
It's a great book and full of interesting info about the rotary's ups and downs!
I'm just glad the RX8 has happened, what a waste it would have been if Ford had canned the project. It was a close call!
Cheers

I'd wait for red unless I could get a titty like JSG's with the two tone leather interior. YUM YUM:D
