Guys,

Being a customer that has a velocity red on order, I have to say that the pictures our dearest freind Oilman attached to another thread, the black RX8 looks very sleek and aggresive. What do other pre order red customers think? The car just looks sharper in black, having said that, I have driven and seen a velocity red in the flesh - and can confirm that it looks totally different in the flesh than seeing it in magazines/reviews etc....... even if the black ls better, there is no way of me changing my order.

i've got a black on order, which I'm sure is going to be great, but to be honest i don't think there's a poor colour in the range (well maybe yellow)

I've now seen tit grey, blue and silver(driven) in the flesh and I'd be hard placed to chose between them.

no-one is going to be disappointed.

 

I've seen these three colours in the metal as well and I fully agree with you.

 

Not sen black in the flesh yet, but I am happy with the choice - IMHO it is the best colour - hiding the lines of the rear doors a bit better...

 

Its interesting how all of the colours have something that makes them special. You've mentioned one aspect of the black colour, but have you noticed that the Titanium colour is carried into the car in the matching the colour of the front seat backing plastic?

 

I've owned a black Honda in the past and wasn't keen to repeat colors of cars I've owned (Black/Green/Blue). That really left me with red/silver/grey/yellow and I find the silver/grey too bland. As for the yellow that's too in your face .
