Anyone want my pre-order?

Having recently seen one in the flesh for the first time, my wife and I have decided (my wife principally...) to go for something a little more practical...

Anyway, its a hi-power, Titanium grey with leather, sat nav and metallic paint (list £25,000). Dealer is TW Whites, Milford.

Delivery to dealer is scheduled for 30 November 2003 so car should be ready early December.

If anyone is interested in taking my pre-order at cost (£1000), please send a PM or email me at daveandcal2000@yahoo.com.

Cheers

Not me (I'm expecting mine of the same spec except SatNav earlier than you) but out of interest , have you confirmed with Mazda and the dealer that you can transfer your pre-order?

I think you may be correct in stating Mazda's position. I'm just waiting for confirmation. As I understand it this is commonplace in the car industry, so I assumed it would not be a problem. the T&Cs do state that Mazda's consent is required but this is pretty standard wording and Mazda would need good reason to withhold consent. So I think if you wanted to play hardball you would have a pretty good argument (but probably not worth the trouble)

Has anyone had confirmation from Mazda UK (NOT their dealer) that they cannot transfer their pre-order?

Anyway, watch this space and apologies for perhaps posting this thread prematurely....
