I know this project has been quiet for a while but here is why, she has been away getting fitted with these puppies. Brembo 8pot Calipers biting down on a 355mm disk running a 33mm spacer to accomodate some Work Meister 18 x 11JJ +10 Offset for the Team Chihuahua SRX8, thanks to Robbie at www.TDP.ie - Championship Winning Mapping

That was a very good read, nice project and some really good work mate..
I plan on converting one of my 8's with supercharged v8 and another with saab turbo lump..
A bonnet might come in handy.
I plan on keeping mine for road use and maybe some track so not going all out lightweight, cage etc this time..
keep on with posting your build.

Thanks mate and welcome to the thread...

So made the trip up to Gripfab the weekend to drop off the Brides, Takata Harness's, Dash, Sparco snap off boss kit and Sparco Wheel. First time I've seen the car since the start of August, she is looking a little sorry for herself with no engine and box but fingers crossed I'll have her back in early December with only the exterior to finish

Here you go :P

Its been a long time since I had an update on the RX8, with that I took a spin up to Gripfab yesterday to deliver some parts and sort out a plan for getting the project moving again. Of course the first thing was to roll her into the workshop and get the rear wheels on to see what kind of a challenge lay ahead.

They'd look good on anything but they are ball breakers.

Dirty one but still sounds like will be a good motor, any pics ?

So the coilovers are fitted and dumped, now I know the true challenge ahead :

Hey Kruizer. Awesome build for starters!

I'm looking at doing the same to my 8 as i think my engine is about to pack it in.
How far back have you got the engine? Does it sit behind the front suspension? Did you have to modify the firewall?

And last of all, do you know someone reliable where i can get my hands on an SR20 from for cheap?

Thanks!
