I'm sad to say that I'm trading in my much loved 2007 Mazda RX8 (Phantom Blue Mica; most beautiful colour!!). I'd rather sell to an enthusiast than trade, but it is what it is. If no interest, car will be gone by this Sunday!
She is in gorgeous condition (new painted front end!) and VERY LOW KM's. Never smoked in. Never saw snow (garage stored). The car is currently in wawanesa, Mb parked a my garage.

This car is in nearly mint condition! Received MANY compliments EVERY SINGLE TIME I drove around. This car is in BEAUTIFUL condition.
Everyone here knows that I've struggled with the thought of selling in the past. That's due to the fact that I really don't want to sell. But life has given me too many other priorities, and this car doesn't fit. Perhaps in a few years when the new RX is avail..

Great looking car, love the color! Too bad the only ones looking for RX8s nowadays are high school kids who've finally saved up a couple grand for their first car. Those are also the same guys who low-ball every RX8 FS ad, and buy the cheapest ones available, then dump the car a couple months later complaining about all sorts of engine problems etc. when they have no knowledge on how to treat the car properly.

I feel like all the enthusiasts who have wanted an RX-8 have got one by now. But if there are still any enthusiasts out there still looking for one, this seems like a great condition car!

Agree 100%. I've refused to sell to anyone who seems immature. I did have a 17 year old come look last year who seemed pretty mature. But I took it off the market before he could buy it.

Agreed. Thought about selling mine last year when I bought my house with the wife and that was a struggle at the time... but what's the point? For 6k-8k.. not worth it, especially after all the upgrades and maintenance over the years. Now its in the garage as a toy and I have the luxury to drive it when I want. I work in Insurance and In my opinion, they are becoming more and more rare, most of them for sale are beat up or not good. Its becoming harder to find good ones and the prices aren't as cheap as they used to be.


Good luck with the sale! She's a beauty! If you have the room, I'd keep it and pay a little more on the truck.. but that's just me.

 

Thanks, all. Trust me, I've struggled for 3 years with selling this car. The reality is, I haven't (really) driven her since 2012. I take her out for a week here, a week there. I even tried convincing myself that I could keep itand purchased a turbo. But life is too hectic right now.
Someone came yesterday to look, and they are now the new owners. They'll be picking up Roxy sometime next week!

Therefore, with bittersweetness, I am officially announcing that this car has SOLD!!

Thanks all for the wonderful years. I'll still stick around. The new owner has created an account and has adhered to all the "no0b-ish" recommendations. I hope he enjoys the car and becomes an active participant of these forums!!
