Series II Transmission (37500 mi) WITH RECIEPT!!

Hey all I'm selling a series II manual transmission out of an R3. I bought it when I thought my tranny was toast. Turns out all I needed was a new pilot bearing and to machine the input shaft.

I paid about 1400 after tax for this tranny and I have the reciept. It has about 4 months of warranty even still on it. I'm looking for 1100.

If you buy it for the asking price I'll throw in a used drive shaft and flywheel and clutch plate for only 50 bucks more.

Let me know. I'll post pics sooon!! Can deliver within reason but you pay for gas!

I am interested... is this the 2009 design or the re-worked 2010? Feel free to PM from here as I will likely have more questions.

Hey,
Is the transmission sold?
If so, where did you get one?

The transmission was sold to me by LQK, probably one of the biggest wreckers in North America. I bought an engine and transmission out of the same car. Both were tested as A1 and come with a 6 month warranty and they have great customer service. I've already called and checked and he said the warranty is transferable too.

I spent about 3 months looking for an engine and there was a small side impact r3 that came into stoney creek lqk and I snagged the tranny and the engine.

I paid 1400 and that was a steal compared to what I've seen online especially with the warranty and low miles. The engine was under 2000 too so that was good.

Any more questions let me know! I still have it!!

Here are some pics

Sorry about quality I took it when I got home and it was dark. I have the reciept and can send a pic of it to any interested parties although I'd rather not publish it in the for sale ad.

Ps you can match the numbers on the receipt with the numbers on the tranny and see it's the same one so you know I'm not trying to pull a fast one.

Hey,
So we are going to pull out our transmission over this weekend and make sure if I need one or not.
Question:
1. Is this a 5 speed or 6 speed gearbox
2. My R3 is a British R3, even though they look almost the same, I am slowly learning that Mazda has been making little changes to the R3's according to the region. I'm trying to find from this site (but I cannot post as yet and other sites) if there any difference I should know about.
3. I am not in Canada but in Trinidad. I will pay all shipping but it would be an international sale. Are you ok with this or are you looking for a local sale?
Thanks
Anderson

1. 6-speed
2. No differences that I know of. This transmission is from an R3. I can send you the reciept and it might even have the vin of the car it came out of. If not it'll def. have the year and what not so we can check.
3. International is cool with me.

For your sake I hope the transmission turns out to be alright! But for my sake I hope to be talking to you soon. Either way good luck and all the best. PM me and I can send you the receipt too.

The Series II transmission was reworked in 2010? What are the differences? Any references? Would it effect the manual transmission in an R3? Thanks.

1000$ US - Plus shipping.

Gunna freeze it at this price for at least 6 months unless it sells. Let me know if you're interested. I still need to go talk to UPS/FEDEX/Cpost and see how much it costs to ship.

If you weren't in Canaduh I'd probably buy it, but freight to TX is likely high.

Shipping one is not easy. Regular ground shipping requires it to be fully boxed (not wood crating) and then also it requires a lot of padding protection because it *will* get thrown/dropped and certain areas like the starter window can get bent and then the starter won't go in, etc. You can send it freight shrink wrapped and strapped on a pallet or in a wooden crate, but not so easy unless you have the capability to handle it that way.

I have the ability to bring it across the border into Buffalo to ship it? Would freight be less expensive if I shipped it within the states ? If necessary I can also commandeer a truck for a day to get it all packeged and moved. Any advice is greatly appreciated . Thanks !
