looking for a good running 2004 engine !! Any help appreciated!

 

I may get flamed for saying this, but, check your dealer. I just had a rebuilt from them installed and the price was surprisingly lower than I expected. Something on the order of $2800.. That is. of course, a short-block so a fair bit of the top end of your engine is reused. The whole job weighed in at $4300. plus tax since most of my parts were either new or freshly serviced a very short while before the engine replacement.

 

That strikes me as a good deal.. what dealership was that, if you don't mind my asking?

 

That actually sounds like too good to be true. lolz

Mazdees charges $4500
MazMark charges $3500

for rebuilds
