Found one; no longer looking

 

Well, with your budget you will be looking at an rx8 that is one or all of the following:

-2004 year
-rusted to ****
-low compression
-no warranty
-rebuilt title

 

I've seen a few alright looking ones for $5000, definitely going to be a 2004. But most were in good shape, little to no rust. The engine is going to be the main concern at that price.

 

that's not true i have an rx8 i might be willing to sell for 5k it recently had an engine and transmission installed from an 07 with 15 000km on it. it's a 2004 black gt the body is in mint shape never seen winter but has 200 000km on it but you would never know by looking at it or driving it. its a nice tight car that's been looked after it's hole life.

How's it not true? Does your car have warranty? Is it not a 2004?

 

Wow... an 2004 w/ no rust w/a rebuilt engine with 15000km on it is only worth 5k? *SAD*

I have my 2006 RX8 for sale, never failed, never rebuilt, has winter tires with it (included) and rustproofed completely. I need it gone by Friday or it gets traded in Only asking $8500 for everything together, I mean I would like $9000ish but I can work it out. Let me know if interested. I have some pics up in my for sale post. Let me know =] 6 speed manual with 120,000km on it. Grey in color with black and brown leather seats.
