GAUGING INTEREST: Rx-8 Kognition Wing
We'd like to gauge interest on our wing that we used this year in CTCC.
It is a custom-sized Kognition wing with stands that was made to fit within the CTCC rules - no higher than the roofline, 69" span within the widest part of the car, and sits no further back than the rear bumper. The stands mount at the bottom of the trunk directly above the "rails" of the chassis structure for direct distribution of force to the chassis.
It comes with 1-piece stands thanks to a mix-up by Kognition that was never rectified, so it has to be mounted through the trunk panel unless you want to modify it. We can supply 2-piece quick-disconnect Subaru mounts that he sent us, but would, again, need to be modified for the quick-disconnects to sit above the trunk-line.
It's his 2014 design so the endplates mount via aircraft-style nutserts. One endplate was scraped along the wall at GP3R this past weekend, but otherwise it's in great condition.
We'd like to see a reasonable return on what we spent (~$1600 after shipping & duties) so reasonable offers will be considered.
Cheers
