BHR or RB catless midpipe

I'm after a good quality midpipe. Not looking for a ton of noise or rasp, trying to find either a BHR or RB dual resonated catless.

Might have to bite the bullet and pick up a new one.
That's what I had to do.. best thing too because that oem cat really bogs the car down. Restriction like crazy!
BHR for the win! :-)

Yeah it might come to that. The BHR is $500 USD + exchange rate is going to kill me. I think the RB is listed on their site for like $385 USD which is a bit better. Lots of cheap TurboXS or AP dual reso around but not hearing the best things about drone and rasp.

I'm open to trying to find a cat cheap and gutting it, but not sure about the sound or drone there either...I love the way the car sounds and don't want to sacrifice it for just "loud", but I do want to get it breathing smoother.

Yep, I hear you. When I picked mine up, I think it was about $650cdn to my door. Yes, it wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. I bought the car originally having the stock headers and the stock cat going into an RB catback. Car sounds good. Doesn't intrude all that much but still has a nice sound to it when you rev it out. I was a bit worried changing the midpipe out to BHR, but all the research says the sound doesn't change. All it does is relieve all the pressure the cat was causing. Plus it can withstand the torture the renesis inflicts on metal.

I changed it out, and never looked back. I enjoyed it so much, I actually bit the bullet and changed the headers to the RB headers. That added a bit more noise, but nothing absurd or annoying. You can comfortably hear music at a reasonable level or have a conversation without dreaded drone or booming noise.
Car runs like a champ now! More than enough for daily duties..
