It's time to say goodbye to my 2006 Mazda RX-8 Shinka Edition with Copper Red Mica paint and less than 20,000kms on its Mazda factory remanufactured/installed engine. This is a fantastic car has been enjoyed by the same conscientious enthusiast owner for approximately ten years. It turns heads, is a thrill to drive with dynamic handling finesse and a 232hp rotary engine with a 9000rpm redline. Car comes safetied/certified, e-tested. Price $5990.

Key features: Leather/suede seats and trim, leather steering wheel and shifter, moonroof, stability/traction control (fully defeatable), auto-dimming rear mirror, heated mirrors, HID headlights (work really well!), fog lights, limited slip differential, Bose Stereo, 18” wheels, excellent 6-speed Aisin manual transmission, power mirrors/windows, ABS, etc.

The Shinka Edition was a special package limited to 1500 units world-wide, offered on the top-spec GT model with the moonroof option selected. It has a unique leather/suade interior and the foam filled subframe. This car retailed for ~$52,000 + tax when new. I replaced the shocks with Mazdaspeed models which are nicely tuned for the car without negatively impacting the ride.

Comes with Mazda’s official Yamaguchi coffee table book.

All recalls performed and maintenance documented. Krown rustproofed.
