I am putting up my Mazda RX-8 for sale. It is a fantasic car. Lots of fun to drive. The only reason I am getting rid of it is because I had to upgrade to a more "family friendly" car, as we have a growing young family.
The car is currently on alloys with summer tires. It also comes with winters on steel wheels. They are good for a couple more seasons at least. Also comes with a second set of stock alloy wheels with old used up winter tires on them. That's 3 sets total!
Only modification on the car is a Sohn OMP (Sohn Oil Metering Pump) adapter. For more information on it, google it. I believe this is a very important modification to be done in order to maintain engine life.
Also,
- Plugs, wires, coils all done 20,000km ago.
- Transmission and diff fluid done 20,000km ago (All redline)
- Oil changed 500km ago, and has been done regularely 5,000km since I've owned it.
- Rear brake pads done 10,000km ago, have spare front pads to go with the car.
The only problem with the car is a small bit of rust around the tail light on the trunk lid. Planning to have it fixed, I bought another trunk lid (also with a small bit of rust) with the intention of having it painted to replace the current one. I have a quote of $500 to do it, so that can be added to the price to have it done, or just do it yourself!
