It finally happened, at 131k driving down the QEW coming home from Grimsby on Saturday. My oil pressure dropped and blew oil all over my engine bay and crossmembers. Car instantly died, had to bumpstart immediately or else I would have had a truck sitting in my trunk. Won't start now.

Anyways onto my buy, I am looking to buy a 04-08 6mt engine. I will be pulling it apart but I don't want to buy one for a major rebuild. So please, only ones that were pulled out of the car running.

Let me know what you got plus what you are looking to get for it.

 

I have one that is being pulled out this week because the compression is low. I'm guessing you want one that is actually strong, but this thing is running, has good power, the only problem I had that made me take it in was the warm starting was a little difficult. It still would start after warming up, but I would have to wait about 5 minutes and it would crank quite a bit. Anyways, I don't know if you could do anything to try to save it, like running something through it, cleaning the carbon build up, or something like that, but my guess is it will last another 5-20K as is. I'd be willing to give it up cheap, PM me if your interested. I can get the compression test results and video/pictures of whatever you want probably within the next week.

I have a motor mint shape, with trans and new clutch 6K ago. Pulled to swap in REW. 2500 bucks

 

I have a matching pair of rotors I can sell for $400, acid cleaned, oiled and bagged.
A pair of almost new rotor housings, less than 2000kms. $1000 for the pair.
If you decide you need parts to build an engine, I have lots more.

R.P.M will you have these for long? I am going to try and finish getting the engine out today and start pulling it apart tonight and tomorrow to see the damage. A rebuild is definitely possible.

I had them set aside for a guy who I was building an engine for.....but no money came through, havent heard from him in over a year. So really, first come first served.
