Do not believe them, talk to a pro in paintless dent removal before you do anything. The last thing you should do is repaint your panels.

You guys should really contact Anthony (dent 911). he'll be much cheaper then "dent doctor". will come to your home and will do a much better job. The guy has tons of loyal clients who drive SLRs/Ferrais/Lambos. But I mean, go with whatever floats your boat

its bullshit that a regular shop will tell you so that they can bill you much more money. They told me that my CLS dent was too big.

dont worry

Its not going to be pretty. You're most likely going to be better off filing a claim via your insurance.

Whatever you do, attempt paintless dent repair before you do anything else. I'm sure you're well aware that body work/ repaint is notorious for rest/poor finish/chipping/peeling.

Man, I feel for you guys. I'm another one that HATES dings and does everything to avoid 'em (nearly 3 years and not a one yet), but **** happens...I must have a dozen paint chips on my hood so unless we keep 'em under a blanket at home...

I'd do everything to get 'em popped out. Filler and bondo? No thanks.

I think what he meant was he hasnt seen it yet so he didnt want to tell me what they will do. He asked me how many dents and I told him prob like 30-40 and he told me there were two other cars that told him the same story but they found more than that. I cannot see any paint damage only dents, but when they see it tomorrow they will be able to tell me what they are going to do.

no this quote was from my friend...I told him about the hail and that the dents were about the size of a loonie. He worked in Alberta before when they had the huge hail storm there so he probably has a good idea of what kind of dent it is. But he said he'd have to take a look to confirm.

Chatham really got hit. I picked up hail the size of an egg. Heard on the news that the dealers in Chatham had millions of dollars in damages.
The most amazing shaped hail I have ever seen!
My car was in the shop during the storm.......can't believe my luck.

The only thing that worries me is if they tell me that there is too many dents and they can't go with PDR and instead have to repaint *GASP* I am also going through my insurance as i only have to pay a 500 deductible
