ON Winter meet with Re78.net forum

Hello fellow Rx8 owners I'm pleased to say that we as Re78.net team are organizing a rotary cars winter meet in Ottawa in December 13 Sunday. We contacted Rx8Club moderators about this and they really kindly allowed us to open this thread and support us. This meet is planned as for rotary cars but any other car would be welcome too. As for our purpose in organizing this meet is just to get to know other rx8 owners from Canada and possibly U.S. Location and date is written down below.

-For who wants to participate or wants directions and contact information please send
a Private message or Email me.
-We chose out location in a easily accessible shopping mall which we can have some coffee or food on site.
-For participating members please be responsible when coming into the parking lot we would like to keep the noise down without disturbing anyone so everything can be fun and run without issues.

Please feel free to share your ideas or suggestions. Thanks for you time.

Location: 2208 Bank St, Ottawa ON, K1V 1J6 next to Denny's
Date: December 13, Sunday 11:00 AM

Hope your event turns out great, but my 8 has been safely put away for a couple of months already and don't expect to get it out until spring 2016.
If you do plan on having meets next season please post up I'll surely try to come out to show my support..

I'd be there for sure, but it's over 120 miles from Calgary.

...but Good Luck, and I hope it's well attended!

If we can get enough participants it can be really nice to organize for now my main concern is winter meet.

Sorry car is in storage or i'd come. Also, agreed with others on the risk of driving over there with summer tires. If something happens in the summer, I'm sure more people would be willing to attend. The spring meet in Vaughn that Mike organizes is great and lots of rotaries show up. See you all in 2016 and good luck on the meet. Cheers!

That's to bad that your first meet was a bust, but don't give up just yet.
You could start planning a early spring meet for the end of march or so
that's when we're all itching to get the cars out of storage

I'm wondering if a an Eastern Ontario meet in the late spring (late May?) in perhaps Kingston may attract enthusiasts from Ottawa, Cornwall and other eastern areas (as well as those in south west Quebec) and those from Central Ontario. A member in Kingston could suggest a few venues to meet.
