Winter Driving

Hello everyone,

I am looking at buying a RX-8 soon but I wanted to ask a question.

I will be driving the RX-8 in the winter and I live in Kitchener.

What I would like to add the front air dam accessories to the car.

How does the car handle the snow with this air dam on. Does the car become a snow plow or is it fine.

Any help would be great..

Thanks

In Toronto it's fine. The stock front bumper is not all that low. But in Kitchener you might run into days where you'll be plowing a little. The important thing is to get good snow tires on it. If you can stomach the mushy ride, get the more hardcore snow tires. This car can really use the extra snow traction since it is RWD, has wide rims and is quite neutral.

Ya snows are not an issue. I have snows on all my cars. It was just a question on how low this lower lip would be. I does look sweet on the car in the summer but in the winter is when it really matters..

THanks
