Winter Car Storage

Just got a quote for Winter Car Storage, does any one else store there car off site.
What price do you pay?
Just don't have the room for 3 cars.

Thank you for your inquiry. The cost to store your RX-8 would be $120
per month plus GST. We store for a minimum of 5 months, typically coming
into storage about November 1st or earlier and not being removed until
after April 1st. Payments can be made on a monthly basis with credit
card charge , post-dated cheque on through on line banking. We can
accommodate about 60 vehicles in our warehouse. The building is a steel
and concrete block structure and has a monitored security system. Please
contact us again if you have any further questions or drop in for a
visit we would be pleased to show you our facility. We are open 7 days a
week till October 31st.
Thank you
Doane Road Storage

They didn't say whether it's heated or not.

It's like a big warehouse about 60 degree in the winter, but the price seems high, going to shop around a bit more.

60F probably...since 60C is wayyyy too hot, 60 F = 15-16 C which is okay

Ok, now how do I store it;
Tire pressure 40 psi?
Change oil?
Pull battery?
1/4 to 1/2 tank of gas with fuel stabilizer?
Plan to fire it up once a month for 5-10 minute to lube the seals.
Anything else I've missed?

I found some private space north of Newmarket, I'll be seeing him this week, anyone else interested.
I'll see how much space he has. Way cheaper than most storage.
100$ a month, heated. some access.

Tire pressure 40 psi? 45psi or on stands under the suspension.
Change oil? Nah...(guess depends when your last one was done) change soon as you take it out
Pull battery? Yup
1/4 to 1/2 tank of gas with fuel stabilizer? full tank with stabilizer, less condensation then.
Plan to fire it up once a month for 5-10 minute to lube the seals. Nope...leave it till u take it out. I would figure the same.
Anything else I've missed? Steel wool for exhaust pipes (inside them) lol, clean and wax before storage (taking mine to get professionally done), car cover. Think that's it.

You really don't need to start it every month. Park it, leave it 'till spring.

Heard it was also good for the A/C

One more Thumper, a plate of Baking Soda on the floor to soak those nasty damp odors from no air circulation.

Already have a car cover for indoor use.

Went to see that storage space today. It's a private home with a huge out building where he stores his Vette and shop tools, room for probably 10-12 cars including his. Took it from November 1 to April 1 $500. I'll be in good company he say 2 Porsches will be my neighbors. Not much to look at but it has it's own heating system and concrete floors. Good enough for me.

Did not go with Doane Road Storage. Went with a private guy.
pm you this morning.
P.S.
I found another place yesterday 50$ per month indoor but they have a waiting list, Put my name in for next year. For 50 bucks I can't go wrong, the person I talked to said they been storing car for twenty years and the only way to get a spot is if someone destroys there car (s) or dies.
