What did you get with your RX8?
Hi guys,
Sorry I am running out of time to wait for answers in my other post, so I have to ask here.
What free accessories did you guys get with your 8 in Canada?
-wheel locks?
-floor mats?
what else? I am asking this because I feel like my dealer is trying to jack me, i will explain more later if neccessary.
please share! im picking up my car tomrorow so i want to tell them what I know I should have before hand.

I got nothing "free" with my car. Floor mats are standard.
I don't think you have very much leverage with the lack of availablity up here, to expect anything to be thrown in.
(I'm assuming you are in Canada BTW)

i'll see how good my dealer is tomororw i guess.
I hope i won't be driving off the lot with no lock nuts and 1/4 tank of gas
he did mention first maintainence free, but he never put that into writing.

A full tank of gas is normally supplied with new cars today.
Why do you think you will get lock nuts?
Did you ask for them. In my experience they won't offer anything when the demand exceeds the supply.

It depends on your salesperson i guess, i got the floormats of course and a full tank of gaz AND the wheel nut locks. He even lets me use his car if i'm in for servicing. (they charge 15$ a day for loaners) .

My dealer tried to squeeze $35 for lock nuts !!!! However, I did get a break on accessories, about 15% or so.
When I pick up, we've already discussed, full tank of gas, floor mats. Pretty standard really.

Hell even I got lock-nuts! They were installed on the car on the lot.
If the gas tank isn't full I would be REALLY surprised, it lists this on Mazda's site as one of the promises mazda makes (yippee free gas).

sales-guy gave me free moonroof deflector, but i didn't take it! looks ugly! he also gave me the slip to the free gas fill-up on the day of delivery! so i went for a long joyride first then filled her up with supreme! 
Does that come standard with the car? Nobody told me about a free watch.
