Weird noise coming when braking
Hey,
I'm getting a weird noise when I brake from my rear right handside wheel. It doesn't seem to be pulsating when I brake, and the sound only comes when I brake. Any idea as to what it could be? The rotors aren't very old and I haven't done any crazy braking... Pads are also relatively new, with lots of life left.

I have a R3, my car has 28K and once awhile I would get a click click noise when slowly braking to a stop.
I could not tell if I was hard braking. But let's say if I am tabbing on the brake under 10km/hr, I can sometimes hear it.
It is annoying, planning to replace the rotor and the pads.

It doesn't sound the same as ABS. Its a clicking sound, and the speed of the clicking is dependant on how fast my wheels are. You can't hear it when you're braking when you're at a high speed (for example > 80 km/h), but when you do end up slowing around 25 km/h you can hear it.
I reseated the rotors and pads and the noise is still there. I'm going to have my gf record the noise when I brake and I'll put it up for you guys.
I just wanna get this fixed, I hate that sound lol.

SHINEY 8!!

A few things to check
Switch that wheel from the side that is making the noise to the other side of the car if the noise moves to the other side the problem is with that wheel.Check that the tire does not have a great big dirty screw, nail or rock stuck in the tread of the tire.If there nothing stuck in the tire check for loose paint on the rim were the rim is attached to the hub surface. I had this problem on one of my front wheels, drove me nuts. There is a TSB on this.
Still there, then remove the rear brake pad shims off and put high temp brake grease on back of pads instead of the shims go for test drive. If it disappears it’s a bad shim.
Fixed no, then check for play on the wheel bearing it may be on its way out. If all seems well remove the rear axle nuts and remove the washer and regrease between the washer and wheel bearing. Put the washers and axle nuts back on with correct torque and go for a spin. There is a TSB on this.
Problem not fixed then jack up the rear of car get under it and check your CV joint boots on both sides for cracks, splits or leaks of grease. If boots have damage then replace and repack joint with grease.
Fixed yet no, rear axle splines may need to be lightly grease. There is a TSB on this too.
This will keep you busy for a while.
Good luck
