The car has just been taken to Mazdee's on a flat bed truck lets see what happens, im just crossing my fingers the engine is still good!

car is fixed

but tonight i was cruising, and randomly the car just died when i let it idle, and then i started it drove and the car wouldnt go past 4000rpm
and dies at idle

could this be a dirty throttle body if so can anyone help me out with where its located ?

its in limp mode. it has nothing to do with the throttle body being dirty

what did the stop do that got the car running again?

I had that mode once when I had to run one of my winter tires with a summer tire, different size. I couldn't get it off and shut down on my like that on the hwy.

Not a dirty throttle body. You can try resting the ECU, disconnect the battery for 5+ min, and after hooking it back up, do the brake tapping and see.
If still the same, take it back to Mazdee's. Sounds like not enough gas/air ratio so stalling out.

just had a plugged cat

and i tried disconnecting the battery and tapping, still acting up, i drove it tonight it wasnt fun especially since i cant pass a certain rpm unless i bring it up slowly

i will bring it back to mazdee's tomorrow
