traction control light

ok so everybody in the gta knows how bad today was for driving. Well on my way to work my traction control light came on along with the ABS and E-Brake lights but everything seemed to be fine until i hit a patch of ice and the traction control didn't come on. Luckily i made it to work fine and when i came out of work and turned the car on the lights were off and the traction control was working again. I'm calling Mazda tomorrow when i get up but i was just wondering if this has happened to anybody else?

Exclamation

nothing to worry about there may have been a fault from the dsc system, when you turn your car off then on again it does a check and if no hard faults are found your trac. control will work again
its happend to my 04 a couple of times

I think it's the ABS sensor. Seems to happen to people during snow storms.

i think thats normal. It happened to be every now and then when I hit a patch of ice and traction control didnt come on. Read my thread on my 1st rx8 winter experience, I hit some black ice.. spun 180 degree, ended up 2 lane to the right, arms length to the light pole, facing oncoming traffic WITH on coming traffic. Traction control did not kick in at all. But no big incident after that , just sliding on small ice patches in residential area w/ no traction control
