Toronto Motorsports Park Wednesday Lapping

Toronto Motorsports Park Wednesday August 18th Lapping
I'm thinking of going to next TMP's Wednesday Lapping evening 5:00-Dusk.
I was wondering if anyone else was interested, if so we'll have to pre-register / pay only $60 plus HST before Monday August 16th

Aghh sorry Rick - think I'm going to pass on this now since I signed up for the Time Attack on the coming Sunday.... likely going to make it my last track event for now until I can get the funds for a set of track tires/rims so I don't have to continue wearing down my street set lol.

I'll definitely come out regularly next year when I hopefully have the proper equipment!

wont be going anywhere my dad took the 8 yesterday to get an oil change before Friday. The clutch went half way there luckly my dad's a certified ford master mechanic and we had the transmission out in less than an hour and should have the new clutch in by Thursday hopefully.

forgot to take a pic of the actually clutch a few of the springs were broken and finally got jammed up. a bit annoyed since it was replaced 75 000km ago and still had more than 50% of material left.

Hey guys,

I was planning to go as well...but I've never been. I had two questions, but the track office seemed closed on Tuesdays...so I never got an answer:

1. Will a Snell M85 helmet pass? They say you must have a Snell M...but I don't know what M they want.

2. Does the self-tech form need to be signed by a mechanic?

For open lapping you need neither, helmets are up to the driver to wear. Also you don't need the self-tech form just pay a go. I'll pm you, 0413B, and Jay with my cell# if you need to get a hold of me. Hope to see you there!

Got you PM...thanks. I'm going rain or shine.

I didn't pre-register, what time can you register at the track?

Well, OK...I'll take your word for it. I look on their website and clearly mentions those requirements.
