Sunlight Silver, Tinting and Toronto
Sunlight Silver, Tinting and Toronto
I'm picking my RX8 this weekend, and I'm thinking of tinting my car next week. Can anyone recommend a place in TO for good tint jobs? What is a good tint for the sunlight silver? What did you guys get?
My friend told me that he goes to this place called FXAuto near McCowan and Hwy 7. They did a very nice job on his car, and they use quality tint films. I think I may go to them for the rx8. If you are interested, talk to Wayne. He is the owner, so you will be able to bargain the price down. I think they charge like $250 for tints, depending on the kind of film you pick.

Red338... hi-tec located @ West Beaver Creek rd & Hwy 7.
I don't have any contact there. Just that my brother's MP3 and my 8 got our car tinted from there.
Did a pretty good job.

go to FX, My Friend knows Wayne, he's a good guy. I had my alarm installed there on my 2000 celica. They also warranty all their tint jobs, if there are any problems down the road, they just redo the job completely.

Choose a tint that will give good UV protection. This will protect the interior as well as you from getting them driver side sun burns. I personally like the simple black (they call it charcoal) ones. The car stand out on it's own, so I don't see a need to pop the windows too, but that's just my opinion. Ask the places you want to check out what tints they use and Google the UV rating and SRP (suggested Retail Prices), then you'll know what's what. Oh, don't forget to follow the laws from where ever you are. It's one thing to be pulled over for speeding, but for a tint job--that's just lame.
