I have a friend going to Laurentian U. If I go visit her again, you wont be the only one with a Lightning Yellow RX-8 :P

 

lol Thats fine... I'm in ottawa for the week, and my cousin says he sees another yellow rx8 every morning. are you winter driving yours? Although I'm sure there are a good number of yellow 8's here.

 

i dont think there are a good number of yellow 8s anywhere. they didnt sell so many ly 8s.

I do drive it occasionnaly (sp?) when the weather permits it. I don't really like driviing it in the snow. I have some winter tires, and will take it out but not in 20 cm of snow like today.

 

Yeah, Mine stayed parked in the parking garage, leave for Sudbury tomorrow morning, as the weather should be nice.

Well I'm glad there are not many LY 8's, I like to be diff, and i think its one of the few cars that can pull off yellow. I never liked yellow cars until I saw the 8 in it and would not have it any other way... but I know its not for everyone :p

 

Same man. I had a friend that worked at Myers Chevrolet Cadillac, so he was looking for an RX-8 for me. Honestly, we had leads on about 10 different ones. All of them were either lemons, sold before we put an offer, something wrong with them, etc. He found the yellow one in montreal, sent me a pic of it and I fell in love with it right away.

We put the offer, and I got it. Really happy with it.

 

Yeah Not easy to find, especially in Sudbury. I found this one in Barrie, It was the first LY manual i found for sale in a while, so I had to get it. and I am very happy with it. Although winter is tough on it.
