Steering grinding

Steering grinding

hey guys

anyone have this problem?
when iam at a stop and turn my steering wheel back and forth
seems like the power steering is grinding
i mostly hear it in under ground parking
is this normal?

I don't believe it's normal but you REALLY shouldn't dry steer. I wouldn't be surprised if your dry steering has done something to the steering motor.

I would say if you hear it mostly underground, then there's probably nothing wrong. Underground parking makes the whole car sound weird, all noises bouncing off the walls and ceiling..
I wouldnt worry about it, and I wouldnt dry steer too much underground or otherwise.

is it when you turn the steering to near it's fullest radius and you hear a grinding? I seem to have that, it's only when I have my stock rims and tires on that I get that

no its not to the fullest radius
and yes its only with stock wheels and tires

i guess thats normal
my warr. ends in june so i thought i would ask around

try washing your wheels.. there very well might be a rock or something caught in your strut or spring or w/e... unless its not that kinda grinding..
