Steelies at CT?

Does anyone know for sure if the Canadian Tire steelies will fit on an 8? I called a couple of stores and they had no idea. I've been looking at these. Is there anyone in the Vancouver area that can point me to some cheap steelies? I'd appreciate any information you guys can provide. TIA.

the link wouldnt work for me. whats the price? have you priced mazda steelies yet? they arent that expensive, usually can get a deal on them this time of year if you sweet talk the parts guy and then you know they fit and you dont have to deal with the often questionable staff at canadian tire. good luck

pm burnabyrx8 or gyrobot, those two guys in vancouver can help you out with that question. Also, you need at least 17" steelies to clear the brake calipers.

Thanks for the replies guys.

The steelies at CT I've been looking at are 17" and are priced at 69.99 each. No information about the wheel width, bolt pattern or offset. Here's a pic of the webpage:

hmm...have you checked your local mazda dealer? I could have sworn the sale price was around 70 per rim (dont quote me on that though) from the mazda dealers around here, and then the rims are hubcentric (they actually fit around the hub perfectly so the weight of the car isnt supported by the wheel studs themselves). It cant hurt to ask, and you know that the mazda 17" steelies will definitly fit the RX8s no problem. tried tested and true. good luck
