i love the stampede.
Seriously we have it the best out of any city in Canada. We get paid to get drunk all week and not goto work. Free breakfasts, staff BBQs and tickets to the rodeo? what more can i ask for? oh i know... not to see the pics of KHTM in his chaps :D

Mentalhealth is overrated
I don't know of any other city other than maybe New Orleans where you are drinking at 9:00 in the morning standing next to the CEO of a Billion dollar company....very cool. This town shuts down for business for 10 days of partying.

stampede = the best excuse to get drunk during the work week.
for those who actually dont know its basically a huge freaking fair, that has a rodeo, chuckwagon races and that kind of stuff as well. A bunch of free concerts and a FREAKING lot of drunken girls who want to get some.
if you saw footage of the red mile during the flames run, its basically like that

I actually almost went to U of A way back when I was applying for uni's(wasn't that long ago, 5 years now ..
All I hear is great things about calgary from my contacts out there.. Well have fun at the stampede guys
